Fundraising Gala Details
TICKET PRICE: $175 per person —
Price includes wine, appetizers, a full seated dinner, and DJ.
GROUP NAME AND TABLE ASSIGNMENTS:
Guests will be seated with other parents of their student’s grade level.
If you wish to be seated with specific people, please note it in the “Group Name” field. The Gala team will do its best to accommodate all requests.
ATTIRE: Cocktail/Semi-formal. The Gala team suggests colors of white, grey, silver, or black.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Ticket sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Regular price is $175 and will begin on February 9. Ticket sales will close on February 27. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Price of ticket includes wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Cocktails and beer will be available for purchase. Ticket purchase is not tax-deductible.

6pm: Arrivals and wine reception
7pm: Seated dinner, Live Auction, Fund-A-Need Appeal
8pm: Games, mingling, DJ, and dancing
10pm: Event end
THEME: This year’s theme is “Dragons & Diamonds.”
DINNER: Dinner will include appetizers, pre-meal salad, chicken or vegetarian dish, and dessert. If you require a special meal, please request it during the ticket purchase process.
VENUE: This year’s event will take place at the beautiful Domenico Winery in San Carlos. Parking is free, but UBER is highly recommended.

PHOTO RELEASE POLICY: By participating in the Fundraising Gala on March 13, 2026, and purchasing a ticket, you voluntarily give permission to Design Tech High School to publish images and videos taken at the event and all of d.tech’s social media platforms.
If you prefer not to have your picture published, please email fprice@dtechhs.org at least 24 hours before the start of the event.
Why Should You Attend?
The annual Fundraising Gala is one of d.tech's biggest fundraisers of the year, benefiting the Koi Pond Fund. The evening brings together our community to enjoy great food, entertainment, and connection — all in the spirit of supporting our students and teachers. Proceeds from the gala directly fund opportunities that go beyond what state funding alone can provide.
The special evening will include a seated dinner, a spirited live auction with exclusive packages, a Fund-A-Need, a DJ, and, of course, a selection of outstanding wines to be shared with new and old friends.

What is d.tech’s Fundraising Gala?
The Fundraising Gala is one of our school’s biggest fundraisers of the school year. It is a fun evening for our community to come together in support of our students and teachers. It will include a wine reception, seated dinner, professional auctioneer, a live auction with exclusive packages, a paddle raise, games, and a DJ.
What is the Live Auction about?
The Live Auction will include exclusive packages available only to Fundraising Gala attendees. It will also include a Fund-A-Need appeal.
How much are tickets and are there any discounts?
The early bird rate has ended. Regular price tickets are on sale for $175 per person. To buy your tickets, click HERE.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Unfortunately, tickets will only be sold online through February 27.
Can I volunteer at the event?
Yes! A volunteer sign-up sheet is available by clicking HERE.
I can’t attend the Gala, but I would like to make a Fund-A-Need donation. What is the best way to do that?
Our Online Auction will take place March 7-15. In addition to many exciting items and packages, the auction will include an opportunity to make a Fund A Need donation.
I purchased tickets but now I am unable to attend. May I get a refund?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds, and tickets are not transferable. However, we would be happy to turn your ticket purchase into a tax-deductible donation to the Koi Pond Fund.
